Jessica Pan is a pianist and oboist, and she has been active in the classical music community in and around Atlanta for most of her life. She began playing piano when she was five, performing in and receiving awards at numerous festivals, competitions, and recitals, including two performances at Carnegie Hall. 

Jessica began playing the oboe in band in middle school, and she was the principal oboist of the Wind Ensemble at Parkview High School for four years. While at Parkview, Jessica also led her school’s Technology Student Association to their fifth consecutive state championship and the Academic Decathlon team to a state championship, setting a record for the highest individual score in Georgia for the past ten years.

Jessica continued to be musically active throughout middle and high school as a participant in the GMEA All-State Band/Orchestra for five years, a pianist and oboist in the Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony, and an oboist in the Emory Youth Symphony Orchestra. Jessica taught private lessons and played accompaniment for performances throughout high school as well. She also enjoys chamber music and supports and attends the Atlanta Chamber Music Festival each year; her favorite chamber piece thus far has been the Dvorak Piano Quintet in A Major. 

Jessica is currently a student at the University of California, Los Angeles where she is planning to double major in Psychology and Physics.
