Angela Manous

board member

Angela Manous received her Education Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College in Athens, and her Masters and Bachelors degrees in Music Education from the University of Georgia. She has taught in the Clarke County School District for 22 years, teaching middle school band, chorus, and general music. Angela has also served on the staff of both the Cedar Shoals High School and Clarke Central High School marching bands. She was recognized as Teacher of the Year at Coile Middle School for the 2019-2020 school year. Additionally, Angela was recently promoted to a leadership position within her school and will fill the role of MTSS Specialist/Instructional Coach.

 

Angela currently performs with the Athens Symphony and the North Georgia Winds (clarinet). She also enjoys practicing Tae Kwon Do at Live Oak Martial Arts. She lives in Winder with her husband, Jason and daughter, Olivia, and their 2 dogs and one cat.
