Founded in 2024, the HEART Youth Symphony offers young musicians the opportunity to perform fun and challenging orchestral repertoire while advancing their musical skills in a supportive ensemble setting.

About HYS

The HEART Youth Symphony (HYS) is open by audition to all string, wind, or percussion players grades 8-12. Students will be placed in either the Open Participation or Advanced Level Ensemble based on their audition and participation in their first rehearsal. Rehearsals are held on Sundays from 2:00-4:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Athens, GA. HYS presents two concerts each season: one in fall, one in spring.
