Ashley Wilson

Ashley Wilson is a pianist and music educator based in Athens, Georgia. A Kentucky native, Ashley earned a Bachelor of Music in Music Education with an emphasis in piano from Eastern Kentucky University in 2015. While studying at EKU, Ashley studied with Dr. Richard Crosby and taught at the Foster Academy for Musical Excellence, specializing in private and group piano teaching. She was also a group piano instructor for the Richmond Area Arts Council, which partners with Madison County public schools to provide after-school music and arts programs in rural Kentucky.

Ashley holds a Master of Music Education degree from the University of Georgia. While at UGA, Ashley taught class piano to non-music majors, music education seminars, and supervised undergraduate students in their pubic school teaching practicums across Oconee, Clarke, and Oglethorpe counties. She also holds a second master's degree in piano performance and pedagogy from Eastern Kentucky University, where she studied with Dr. Rachel Taylor.

When she isn't teaching, Ashley loves to hike, garden, perform collaboratively with her French-horn-playing husband, Andrew, and go to the dog park with her rescue dog, Stella.
