
Jacob Zerega
UGA MBA Non-profit Board Fellow
Jacob Zerega is a current student at the University of Georgia Terry College of Business and is expected to graduate with his Master of Business Administration in 2027. He is currently a member of the Non-Profit Board Fellows program and is a Graduate Assistant with the MBA Admissions team.
Stemming from a dedication to sharing his passion for music, Jacob has extensive experience teaching students of all ages and abilities. Prior to his matriculation at UGA, he taught band and general music at a small, private school for students with learning disabilities and a large, public high school where he taught concert band, marching band, classical guitar ensemble, and AP Music Theory. Jacob has also served as a volunteer instructor for the Virginia Winds Academy where he taught brass sectional instruction and assisted in grant research and writing. He holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Throughout a lifetime of performance and arts advocacy, Jacob has performed with several ensembles. He has performed with the Northern Virginia Youth Winds (now Virginia Winds Academy), the NAfME All-National Concert Band, the Pride of the Southland Marching Band, the University of Tennessee Wind Ensemble, the University of Tennessee Trombone Choir, and the Fairfax Wind Symphony.
In his free time, Jacob enjoys spending time outdoors, learning Italian, going to concerts, and trying new restaurants.
