
Madeline Blankenship
Executive Director (July 2025-Present)
Madeline Blankenship earned her MBA in 2024 from the University of Georgia Terry College of Business. She currently works as a Sustainability Consultant, helping corporate clients report and strategize on their most pressing environmental and social issues.

Through her past work as a corporate social impact program manager, she helped advance the stability of the local arts community by running arts-focused funding and engagement initiatives and aligning stakeholders to support artists, musicians, and nonprofits in the area. Madeline has also served on various boards and committees supporting the arts in Athens over the last decade, including as a member of the Athens Cultural Affairs Commission (2020–2024).

A lifelong musician and advocate for all arts, Madeline was inspired to become a percussionist by her drum set-playing dad. In high school, she performed with the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra (ASYO), Georgia Youth Symphony Orchestra (GYSO), and her high school's marching band, percussion ensemble, and STOMP ensemble. In Athens, she has performed with the Classic City Band (2020-2024) and currently serves as a percussion section leader for the Athens Symphony (2018-Present).​
